The People’s Square in Shanghai is a big public square located in the city’s Huangpu District. The square is one of the most popular places in the city and is the venue for many festivals and celebrations. It is also the site of the municipal government’s headquarters. Nestled in the heart of the city, People’s Square spans an area of about 1,800 square kilometres. It is a gorgeous place with beautifully landscaped gardens perfectly suited for cultural activities.
