Shanghai’s well-known Fuxing Park is a popular area of parkland which is frequented by locals as well as visitors from abroad. Located in the area previously known as the French Concession, as one might expect the garden is laid out in the French style. It was originally called Gu’s Park, and at the time of the French Occupation the venue was converted into a military camp.
